Camp Location
Friday, May 2: We are still unsure of our first camp location, so please check back BEFORE heading out to camp.Here are the directions to the gravel pit campsite at 23 km on the Pelican Forest Service Road west of Prince George.
From the Junction of Highway 97 and Highway 16 (P.G. Playhouse and the Treasure Cove Casino and Hotel):
Travel west on Highway 16 for 9 km.
Turn left off Highway 16 onto Blackwater Road. There is a sign you will see to West Lake Provincial Park which is on Blackwater Road.
Travel 20.7 km on Blackwater Road until the Pelican Forest Service Road on your right.
Travel down the Pelican Forest Service Road until 23 Km Bridge. Cross the bridge and travel 250 meters until a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto the 23 Km Road.
Within 100 meters you will cross another bridge and take the very first right, follow it into the gravel pit campsite.
